Startup Contest at Investor Day BlogCamp 2008

Applications for the start-up contest for startups at Blogcamp CEE 2008 , which will be held in Kiev, are already working . The flow of applications has gone big, hurry up to be in time. We deliberately deviated from the standard and divided the competition into two parts: the Seed Stage (the need for financing of 50-150 thousand euros) and the Early Growth Stage (the need for financing of 500 thousand - 1 million euros), so we decided to allow very young startups to accept participation in such an event, usually they can not compete with the already formed. The competition is held in accordance with the principles of the SVOD (Silicon Valley Open Doors) Conference Competition. More detailed rules can be found on the competition page. As experts and judges, we decided to invite people from three groups - angels (private investors who invest small amounts), funds and consultants who work in this segment (marketing, PR, bizdev, lawyers). According to geography of the jury, Central and Eastern Europe tried to cover the region, but we already have confirmations from France, England, Norway and Sweden. Of course, the main participants will be from Russia and Ukraine.


The main prizes at the moment are a trip to REDD, now we are negotiating the provision of travel migrants. If possible, the winners will go to the largest Silicon Valley technology business mecca to the largest venture business conference.
