The thought is simple and small.
I think that for a reason google released its JS engine, which at this stage is almost the fastest and optimized for x86. Perhaps this was done in order to test it with google-chrome and then "add" it to your search analyzer sites. For this, JS processing speed is a very important and necessary thing.
If my guess is correct, google will soon please us with a search on the pages generated using JS :). Which as a result should remove many "JS bans" and the headache of developers on AJAX.
