From the old motherboard - strong building materials

Chinese scientists have developed a new way to recycle old computer components. The technology allows you to make environmentally friendly and extremely reliable materials that are useful in construction from crushed motherboards.

Previously, only copper and aluminum were recycled from printed circuit boards, and they did not know what to do with the metal-free residue. It turned out that from this powder it is possible to make finished tiles or products of a different shape, ideally suitable, for example, for the production of city benches, and not only them. They are obtained by spraying the powder with the addition of a small amount of rubber and then pressing under temperature. In terms of strength, such products are not inferior to concrete, but in operation significantly surpass it.

Of course, in addition to motherboards for processing, you can send other components with printed circuit boards, that is, all consumer electronics and computer peripherals. The amount of "electronic" garbage in recent years is growing at an alarming rate. True, printed circuit boards make up only 3% in it, but this problem is very relevant.
