Web development bible

At Profiklab conferences, reports are made by those people who can rightly be called not only gurus, but also technological evangelists. The materials of their reports formed the basis of the “ Web Development Bible ” - we began to publish “Three Books of 2007: RIT, HighLoad, ClientSide” and the first book “RIT-2007 ″ is already available in almost full volume. Why “almost”? Because in the coming days, text materials and presentations will be replenished with more videos.

Following the “first book” we will publish the texts of the reports of the conferences of the last year “HighLoad” and “ClientSide”. It will take about 2-3 months to decipher the video and proofread (by the way, we are happy to work with those who will help to read the reports), although abstracts with videos and presentations will appear much earlier.

We did not limit ourselves only to conference materials - the first translated materials from the largest foreign experts were already prepared:

    • Even faster websites (text based on presentation by Steve Souders)
    • 7 stages of building scalable web applications (the material was prepared based on the presentation, authored by John Engates, CTO Rackspace.)

They and others will enter the printed collection of reports for our first autumn conference “RIT: High Load” .

The issue of podcasts has not yet been finalized and will depend more on those of your comments and letters, on the basis of which we can understand their relevance. Then we’ll do it;)

For now, the format is presented to us in the form of publications hierarchically ordered by topics. We did not begin to do this on the wiki, since the publication is seen to us to a greater extent not as a reference, but as an informational and educational one. Although ... in general, we are waiting for proposals from habrayuzer;)
