  1. Bad hard drive. The testimony is surprisingly inaccurate. When a person is asked to describe what he just saw - often he omits critical details, changes the real data and adds something that was not there at all. And it's a bad idea to rely too much on your memories, as they are probably full of mistakes. Most likely you don’t even remember what is dressed on you now;
  2. Small amount of RAM. Our brain can only process what is loaded into its RAM. And how much we can’t understand due to the fact that our brain does not have enough of this operational capacity in order to store all the subtleties and details necessary for understanding. Probably because of this, in our head there is a complete mess;
  3. Slow CPU Let's just say - you are not the best tool for this job - to make calculations;
  4. Exposure to endless cycles. Once you have a habit of thinking or acting in a certain way, changing it in the future can turn out to be quite difficult. So bad habits, addictions and Republicans are born;
  5. Lack of error correction. As soon as errors appear in the system, they tend to accumulate. One wrong decision that remains uncorrected will attract more and more wrong. This is how people drown in debt, gain weight and get a job ( translation of an article into Russian ), only to later regret it. Apparently, we are much more willing to be stupid than to seem so;
  6. Limited ability to enter information. Our input data channels are limited by five senses (six, for some of us), each of which has a narrow range of capabilities. We cannot see through walls, cannot touch people at a great distance, and cannot hear what people are talking about in the next building ... of course, if we do not work for the CIA ;
  7. Weak networking opportunities. The exchange of information between two people is very slow and boring, errors can sneak into it and the protocol of this exchange is completely discouraging. Obviously, Microsoft was involved in its development;
  8. High cost of maintenance. Who wants to use equipment that takes eight hours to load, suffers from frequent data loss, and is regularly infected with viruses? Well, besides the US Department of Homeland Security ;
  9. Heredity code. The instability of the system is often the result of the use of outdated program code that has been inherited. The impressive possibilities of the human mind are manifested in reactions such as "fight or run," at the moment when you invite a girl to a date. Such a reaction is certainly good if, by refusing you, it tries to eat you. DOS was good at the time, but it will not help us save Antarctica now;
  10. Unreliable equipment. It is only a matter of time before the critical component of our system fails and the entire system is thrown into a human landfill. Of course, it would be nice to have backup equipment in stock by this time, but in any case, we now have a great opportunity to try hundreds of different varieties of ice cream before we leave.

I would say that we needed an upgrade a long time ago.
By the way, did you cheat in point 1?
Sorry, Antarctica.
