Game platform Mail.Ru

The Internet portal Mail.Ru has launched its own gaming platform, thereby announcing the launch of casual online games on the market. Within the framework of the Games@Mail.ru project, a beta version of the multi-user mini-games section was opened on June 17 .

The new Mini-Games service is closely integrated with other Mail.Ru projects, such as blogs, photo albums and Worlds in the My World social network . Such integration allows you to find rivals among the registered users of the portal, provides the opportunity to chat in-game chat and with one click add an opponent to the agent’s contact list Mail.Ru.

All games (and the entire section as a whole) are made in flash, which made them colorful and spectacular. And, I must say, done just for the eyes of the eye. To date, 8 games are presented in the Mini-Games, in each of which, depending on the conditions, from 2 to 6 people can participate. The figure 8, however, is somewhat incorrect, because actually games 6. Just billiards and a fool are presented in two forms.

    Billiards Billiards
, as already mentioned, in the "Mini-Games" two. "Eight" and "nine". In appearance, they are, of course, identical. They differ only in the rules, which can be read about by clicking on the “?” Symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. A table, flying balls, adjusting the direction and strength of the blow - everything is as it should. You can either practice, or immediately fight with an opponent. By the way, there are no problems with rivals (i.e. with their absence). So they climb to offer a party.

    Fool
If billiards is not enough with something, you can play the card "fool". In flip or transfer, as you like. Unlike billiards, there is no “training” (you will not play with yourself, but a computer opponent is not provided). With the rules, I think no one will have problems. Management on the wonder is convenient, does not cause any complaints. One thing but (which, however, is true for all games, and not just for the Fool) - the musical accompaniment leaves much to be desired. Well, at least you can turn it off.

    Mahjong Dragon
As in the case of billiards and a fool, there is nothing special to tell about the game itself. Mahjong as mahjong. Maybe a little simplified, compared, for example, with games from Kiodai. You can collect bones alone or as a team. For the introduction of at least some variety in the gameplay in Mahjong Dragon, there are a variety of bonuses. “Good bonuses” (hint, for example), “Bad bonuses” (such as “5 seconds of inactivity” or “-10 bones to the opponent”) and “Super bonuses” (hint for the whole game, etc.).

    Snowball
Arcade with action elements! Ho ho Honestly, I would prefer snowballs in which you need to cheerfully hit the shells of incoming opponents. But in local snowballs, everything is different. Here you need to destroy the fortress. It consists of balls of different colors. The user also throws balls of different colors. If you put three balls together, they disappear. Standardly. And generally not interesting.

    Lab Monsters
Lab.monsters, like Snezhka, is a personally tired mouth for me, but probably a popular secretary and other office plankton game such as "clear the field, collecting three or more pieces in a row." The competitive part is that all players should try to fill their "flasks" with as many monsters as possible.

    Cosmoswoman
This game is only called weird. But in fact, this is Tetris. It is quite standard, except for the fact that at the same time several people fill the glasses at once. Moreover, depending on the bonuses they drop, they either help themselves, or they shit the opponent with might and main, mixing the pieces in a glass. You cannot name a fascinating game, but amid “Snowballs” and “Lab.monsters” nothing.
