Freelancers are not for 5 rubles or statistics
This is a continuation of yesterday's post about designers, or rather some statistics.
I conducted a small experiment to identify the level of work and the level of requests of freelancers.
After the publication of the proposal, Pro was the first to respond , which is not surprising.
Many do not read the sentence and post a prepared template, i.e. I asked to write one thing, they wrote a completely different one, we immediately exclude them.
Let's start with the pros.
Of all the proposals, 10-15% of freelancers have really professional work . And they offer quite real prices for their work. A
professional with a good portfolio of
$ 300 for a layout.
$ 25 per hour of work.
Freelancers with an account Pro and a regular average portfolio
Prices bend like professionals, i.e. $ 200-400 and $ 20 per hour of work
Freelancers with a poor portfolio (poor quality of work, but some have good ideas)
from $ 70 :) ala school level
One of them asked for $ 30 per hour of work
I also got a few students ( Email view * year of birth@*.ru )
Some try to bend good prices, some do everything for a penny, creating competition for professionals. But in general, all students have zero portfolio.
Bottom line: there was one freelancer with a decent quality of work and a decent price. The average customer would not be able to calculate it in a heap of offers and would probably give the order to the designer, whose portfolio consists of terrible collages, for a price around $ 100.
PSThe professional was the loser. The customer was the loser.
