Flashmob in support of "Balochki"

On Saturday, a flash mob in support of the Ukrainian Internet messenger Balachka was held on Khreshchatyk .

According to one of the scenarios, which was called “A World Without Computers,” after 5 minutes after the start of the flash mob, the participants approached the indicated place and sat on the asphalt in such a way as to form several rows of people. Then the mobers began to simulate typing on non-existent keyboards.

In the second scenario, “Letters,” each participant received a mailing envelope, after which a group of mobers mixed with passers-by. By the mobile phone signal of one of the group’s members, the mobers tore the mail envelopes into 2 parts and threw them up, after which the group dispersed in different directions.

The idea to hold a flash mob in support of the messenger came to the members of the My Generation social network after the news about the release of the new version of ICQ. After the footage has been mounted and posted on YouTube, flash mob participants want to draw additional attention to the national Internet messenger and the problems of supporting and developing national Internet projects in Ukraine.
