    Russian kinetism

182.jpgThe State Hermitage Museum closed the exhibition “Alberto Biazi. Kinetic and computer art in Italy and Russia. " Its main advantage was the opportunity to once again appreciate the merits of not so much Italian as Russian creativity. The works of famous Italians - V. Vasarely, A. Byazi, H. Demarco - laid the foundations of modern industrial design, echoed the objects of Russian masters, striking with the phenomenality of spatial thinking.
Among the works were shown the objects of Boris Stuchebryukov: kinetic sculpture "Galatea" in 1994, "Transformobil" in 1987 and Mobiler ", included in the anthology of art of the twentieth century.

    ArchStation on-line

183.jpgThe main design event of this summer was the ArkhStoyanie festival, which opened its history on the banks of the Ugra River. 17 participants from among the representatives of the architectural establishment and 6 aspiring architects began the transformation of the reserve into an art colony. The interactive nature of the objects, which implied "arching" and riding on them, "arching" on them, as well as their "arch-eating" (and other forms of complicity in creativity), contributed to the transformation of the territory into a public forum. Initiating the organization of the festival, V. and A. Schetinins, V. Kopeiko, N. Polissky and other “discoverers” and patrons of the village of Nikola-Lenivets with the support of the Kaluga Region Administration prevented the total development of the reserve land, rare in landscape splendor. For more details, see the December issue of AB.

    Bombay sapphire

186.jpgDesigner's Yeva Beara chandelier Voyage became the main event of the i Saloni Worldwide Moscow exhibition, held in Crocus Expo in October. Shimmering with 52 thousand Swarowski crystals, the 4-meter “Mobius strip” pulsed with the sapphire glow of the diodes. With waves of light, a mystical object reacted to crowds of visitors, constantly changing the color intensity. The magic of crystal overflows was combined with the mystery of the exotic drink Bombay Sapphire, which became the symbol of the exhibition. The company producing the cult liquor, for the second time, became a partner of the largest design event in Moscow.
An exhibition of glass products from Bombay Sapphire Glass Exhibition was presented as part of the Milan exposition branch.
