Cry from the heart

Decided to express the cry of the soul.
I recall the school years, where in each class there were 1-2 future IT-employees. When the school at the Olympics was not just one person, but a whole team. What do we see now? It’s rare where you can find a truly talented student. Now more html pages can be riveted by people, and pictures in Photoshop. Although I do not argue, there are experts in these areas, but I'm no longer talking about design, but about development. And not necessarily the development of "pages" of such "specialists" now as mushrooms. As the saying goes "about everything and nothing really."

What is being done in specialized educational institutions? Yes there are still there, but they also became fewer. It is worth talking with teachers from there to understand what it is about. And what will happen next? And then worse with such progress.

    Why?
Everything is really simple. IT technology is becoming more affordable. Easier to use. But their internal implementation is becoming more complicated. That's the problem. If the young conqueror of numbers becomes more difficult to understand the device and easier to use, will he go into details? Of course not. Why will I study algorithms in my free time? It's easier for me to make up a page. When the question arises, for example, about developing a complex WEB resource, the frame problem pops up here. Many guys come to work to get a job. And it seems with such certainty that the ocean is knee-deep. But in fact, specialists of the required qualifications are becoming less and less. So such tasks appear at enterprises (in fact, not only because of this) that imply stereotyping, componentity by the basic requirement. In other words, accessibility for the modern average “developer”. To make it easier to tighten the nuts and, if necessary, change. But these nuts, you know, are now full. In general, "look there, copy here, it seems to work." The Hindu method of developing Copy & Paste, as Umputun told one of his podcasts about his subordinates.

    What next?
So imagine, with such a development of education, how many specialists will be able to master and develop such things as Yadis, GSS, OpenID, XDI, XRI, XPI? And this is only one area. And so everywhere. Technology is growing not only “in depth”, but also “in breadth”. There is one conclusion. Experienced bearded guys will let all these miracles down so that a group of narrow specialists can be used.
Probably the times of people-heroes have ended, covering with their knowledge in width a large area of IT. Now it’s more difficult, now IT is a whole world in which everything can be understood only superficially. And so, in order to conduct complex development, we now need a whole department of narrow specialists.

Why is the cry of the soul? Because I believe, such lone heroes can appear. They can be grown. We just need to change the approach in our education system. Our education was spoiled by the technology of chtoli itself. Here is such a paradox ...

    Sorry ...
