Baidu begins to be friends with Microsoft and continues to compete with Google

    The struggle between Baidu and Google for one of the most promising markets in the world has entered a new stage: companies almost simultaneously decided to engage in video services. Baidu already has its own video hosting, but is thinking about acquiring several more of these services. Google has not yet decided whether to open the Chinese version of YouTube or purchase a "local" site.

    At the same time, Baidu begins cooperation with Microsoftin the field of online advertising. The company will sell ads in search results for Chinese versions of MSN and Live Search.
