Now under the blow of Google Video

The Google Video service could not avoid the fate that could repeatedly befall YouTube : a few hours ago it became known about the lawsuit filed against Google's “branded” video hosting. It is reported by Mashable with reference to Google CEO Eric Schmidt. The lawsuit is related to a claim for copyright infringement, but it was not reported by whom it was filed. Details are expected to be announced shortly.

Thus, already the third video hosting (after Bolt.com and Grouper) is subject to harassment by copyright holders. A somewhat strange situation with Google Video is that managers were unable to resolve issues related to the placement of legally protected materials, as has been done repeatedly on YouTube.
