Catch up with IE

According to the latest statistics, Firefox is installed in 12.46% of Internet users, while Internet Explorer is installed in 82.1%. A year ago, Microsoft’s browser occupied 90% of the market. Progress is obvious.

Having appeared in 2004, Firefox quickly gained momentum. Largely due to the scheduling campaign of Spread Firefox and its fans, users who even invested in online advertising. Google also made a contribution by inserting ad units for some Firefox-related products and providing browser support for all new services.

However, the struggle is far from over: in October the final release of IE 7 will be presented with built-in tabs, RSS support and enhanced protection against phishing.
