It seems that creating your own bot for the Telegram messenger has become a good tone for the IT sector. Bots have many domestic companies (I don’t even know if it is appropriate to mention here the Flibusta and Rutracker bots ), including Yandex. Last year, the company launched several specialized assistants who searched for pictures, interpreted words, translated text.

Now the developers of the company decided to create a universal assistant bot. You can even talk with him. This is what the project initiators say about the novelty: “Bot name is @yaand he is a specialist of a wider profile. The bot knows how to answer questions, search for videos and music, report news, translate texts and tell about interesting things happening around. In general, this is a rather versatile interlocutor. ”

Now this bot without any problems finds pictures according to the description given by the user (for example, “scarlet sails”), can pick up a meme or gif. He can also try to guess what is shown in the picture uploaded by the user.



The bot base is quite extensive - it interacts with many Yandex services, including Search, Pictures, Poster, etc.
