Dismantle of the Shuliavsky bridge in Kiev on April 19
I’ll give an hour-long video shot a week ago during the dismantling of individual sections of the Shuliavsky bridge in Kiev. The first forty minutes is the shooting of the preparation of the overpass section for dismantling, and then the most interesting thing happens - transportation of the dismantled section of the bridge on special equipment of the Dutch company Mammoet (Mammoth), specially invited for this:
If you are interested, Mammoth is one of the few companies in the world (there are only 3, or 4 of them) engaged in the transportation of bulky heavy loads. Here is a video about their modular transporters:
And here is a short documentary about how the specialists of this company returned the ship Cabo de Hornos, which was washed ashore during the tsunami, back to sea in the port of Talcahuano, Chile:
