3D printed toys for children (mostly)
I want to share a small selection of 3d-printed toys.

I am the happy father of a one and a half year old girl. In the presence of a 3D printer, the question does not arise whether the question arises, the question “what?” typing toys. In the future, there are ideas for my own projects in this topic, but so far I've only worked with ready-made models with Thingiverse. Friends for the daughter were selected quite meticulously, including the most attractive options on a simple self-assembled Prusa i3, possibly without support, the degree of softness and mobility (arms and legs for example) was also taken into account. This 3d-printed zoo is constantly replenished and is no longer quite a zoo, and partly not only a 3d-printed one. Just in case: links to 3d models directly on the titles of toys.
I started with the truck :

I used a prefabricated machine to assemble 3x15 self-tapping screws - 4 pcs.
Not to say that it’s a favorite toy, but is periodically remembered and operated for riding passengers. The daughter carries all kinds of pussies, dogs and butterflies in the back.
Doggie

most nyashnye among the dog that found it. True, some more skills were needed in order for the dog to get expressive loyal eyes (a permanent black marker to help). Daughter almost did not part for several days and then often remembered until she lost somewhere. Like everyone without exception. He presented it to all the children he knew, everyone was delighted. Perhaps, only Pussy competes with a dog in appearance

Post-treatment was carried out in an acetone bath, then it was dried, aired for several days, now it does not smell. It looks and sounds when tapped like a china. The girl likes, in frequency of circulation, perhaps in second place in the top. A permanent marker was also used.
Horse A

glued model, but without supports. It turned out to be not very in demand, perhaps because it often goes out of order and goes to the balcony to treat fractures of too thin legs with acetone-ABS glue. I try now to choose more durable models, such as the following.
Elephant

Of those that prints at a time immediately assembled with moving legs. My preoccupation too rolls over. I gave it to an adult girl - I was more than happy than my one and a half year old daughter - and immediately began to play with him.
Small Robot

Conveniently printed at once assembly. Unfortunately, my printer had problems because without supports, printing is not very correct, but with insoluble supports it is impossible - nodes that should be movable will not. However, he joined the team and is sometimes in demand.
Big Mark II Robot

I really wanted this (to myself). Printing - no problem, no support. Only for a long time, the set of parts did not exactly time, but for about the whole day. Total weight about 250g at 25% coverage. With the dimensions, though it's not very simple, I had to customize. Fingers are not especially thought out. As a result, they remade them and are still easily disassembled, fly off. Hammering pins with a hammer is the easiest and sometimes optimal way to work with a vise. Summing up: there is a lot of patience and all the same in places not everything is well attached. All this, however, applies to ABS, with the PLA, perhaps there will be less problems. For a small child - not really because of small details, and even his daughter was a little afraid at first, in my opinion because Mark-2 is too similar to a living creature - it can stand, sit, take difficult poses, hold something in hand. For large, such as
small photos: a

plow-hare A

multifunctional device: a plow-box-for-small-garbage-and just Zaya. Prefabricated, eyes and nose are made separately for printing in different colors. It is used mediumly, by me as a plowman, as I recall that he is - it is sometimes nice to use my creations in everyday life. Some kind of warm and proud pleasant feeling arises.
Butterflies

Butterflies, despite the lightest and shortest (less than 15 minutes) print, invariably cause the most positive emotions in a child. Made to be worn around the neck, but it is used without ropes directly for the admiration, adoration and loud cheers of “Baba!” The minus is during breakdown, and, given the thickness of the original model of 0.8 mm, this often happens, there is an irresistible sadness for the baby, which is stopped, however, easily by printing the next copy. In the top by a wide margin.
Summarizing:
-3d-printing of toys is a source of joy for: 1) your children 2) you and 3) your loved ones
-There are those who are not nearly present in stores
-When you have 3d modeling skills, any modification is possible.
-You can print a spare part instead of a broken one
-Because of the soft requirements for accuracy and quality, the printing of 3d toys can be used for the final setup of the printer, to identify the optimal modes for working with new plastic, etc.
-In the vast majority of cases, 3D printed toys win in value
PS Just in case. Links to 3d models directly on the titles of toys.
