Yotaphone has a rival from China

Domestic device Yotaphone became the first phone with two displays, one of which is quite ordinary, and the second is E-Ink. The first model was appreciated quite positively, and after a while the second appeared - Yotaphone 2, with an updated design and features. There are many reviews of Yotaphone, some users are not too happy with the purchase, others, on the contrary, don’t dwell on it. The main negative factor that users pay attention to is the rather high price of the device.

On the Internet, in connection with this, comments have appeared many times in the spirit of “the Chinese will take it, there will be a price three times lower”. And now, YotaPhone developers can already worry a little - the Chinese company Umi is going to release a phone with two displays, one of which is E-Ink.

The design of the device, judging by the one single photo posted by the developer, is similar to the design of YotaPhone 2 (by the way, on Indiegogo the latter has already collected more than $ 200 thousand, instead of the $ 50 thousand originally planned).

It is still unknown how much the phone will cost from China - the developer did not post information on the price. The cost of YotaPhone 2 in regular sale will be about $ 600, if you pre-order Indiegogo, it comes out a little cheaper.

As for Umi Zero 2, the company posted photos of the phone on Facebook , Google+ , Twitter , but there are no details yet. However, earlier this year the manufacturer published the technical specifications of the device. And if this is correct information, then Umi Zero 2 will have a 5.2-inch display, an 8-core Mediatek MT6752 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of memory, 13 MP camera (rear) and 8 MP front camera.

The phone itself may possibly go on sale on September 1.
