Cheryl Treadway spent most of the day with her boyfriend and his knife. When she tried to pick up the children from school, Mr. Nickerson took her phone and went with her, then they returned home together. The woman asked for a phone to order pizza at Pizza Hut, after which the phone was again taken from her. The woman ordered a classic pepperoni and left a message in the commentary.

After receiving a comment on the order, “Please help. Call me 911 ”, the pizzeria employees reported this to the police, writes Sheriff Susan Benton in a May 5 press release.. Police arrived at the scene and persuaded Nickerson to release the hostages. A twenty-six-year-old man was arrested on charges of assault with a gun without intent to kill.
