    Hello.

    My name is Sergey and I'm a little addicted to 3D printers.

    You, probably, as an addicted person, have heard about CLIP continuous printing technology . For its implementation, oxygen, a special membrane and a special photopolymer are required, as the developer claims .

    I want to show you a dumb another method for which the presence of oxygen and other magic are not so important.
    For this we need:
    • UV laser pointer;
    • wooden stick;
    • a bathtub made of any transparent material. A film is applied to the bottom of the bathtub;
    • polymer

    About how it works, I shot a short video.



    This method is excellent, it seems to me, suitable for printers that flash the layer immediately, at a time, i.e. for DLP 3D printers.

    PS It was necessary to record a similar video before. I invented this thing and tried it about 4 months ago.

    Added due to misunderstanding:

    In the CLIP video, you saw the editing of the captured video (at least the speed was changed). I shot live. According to the video, it’s clear that my speed is higher. So you at least saw the speed.
    It differs from the DLP printer in that after exposure to the layer, it is necessary to tear off the exposed layer from the bottom, raise it to some distance and lower it down.

    In my method, extra lifting is not required, as in CLIP.

    Instead of a laser pointer and manual exposure, you can use the DLP projector and the automated platform lift.
