Party Fon MAX Mobile Vibrator

imageA few years ago I saw on Habré the first mention of a vibro-speaker. The topic, the link to which I can’t find for a long time ago, was very excited for me, because the new sound reproduction technology was very interesting. In a nutshell, the vibro speaker transmits vibrations to any surface, turning it all into a large speaker. This allows you to reproduce low and medium frequencies quite high quality, in contrast to ordinary miniature speakers. Although I do not consider myself an audiophile, I have always been interested in audio systems and everything related to it ( proof ). And finally, the day came when one of the devices of this class was in my hands. The Dadget company provided a
Party Fon MAX vibro-speaker for testing for review in its corporate blog.

So, let's begin! A good-quality box with a nice design, not ashamed to present, and also show it again in close-up:

    Very quick anboxing:

    The same in text form.

Inside is a form of foam polyethylene, which I prefer foam, because it does not creak (about these exciting, touching soul sounds) and does not crumble. The device and accessories are neatly packed in it.

    In a set:
    • cable - connects to the device with a mini-USB connector, on the other end of USB for charging and a mini-jack for connecting to a playback device
    • suction cup for glass mounting
    • mount on a door or computer desk
    • actually a mobile vibro speaker ...

    ... Party Fon MAX I

turn in my hands and talk about the controls:

Bottom - silicone gasket, closed with a protective plastic film, which must be glued when carrying or installing in a mount for a door or table, and a suction cup on the window.

The device can be connected to the playback source using a cable or via bluetooth. Moreover, it can perform hands-free functions. It is equipped with a microphone, and the jog, with which you can switch tracks and control the volume, also allows you to receive an incoming call.

A bluetooth connection worked equally well with both my desktop PC and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra smartphone. As a handsfree, the device is quite well-off, the person to whom I made a test call said that I heard well. I was also pleased that the control jog successfully switches music tracks from the Vkontakte mobile application. Although, rather, this is the merit of the application, because the buttons for switching tracks have long been present on bluetooth headsets.

However, this is all the lyrics. You most likely have the most exciting question: “How is the sound ?!”
This worried me in the first place, and of course, I was scampering around the apartment, applying the speaker to everything that was not too late.

    • Window? - not bad
    • Refrigerator? - mmm. unusual
    • Wooden computer desk? - quite!
    • ? - very cool! Although he is very small
    • ? - stunning!

But seriously, the result of various surfaces is very dependent on the selected track. Listen to yourself on the example of the track Britney Spears - “Piece Of Me”

Of course, the sound is a little distorted in the video, but overall the illustration is good. The volume level is very decent.

It seems to me a good idea to attach a special mount to the computer desk from below. Then it will seem that the sound is coming from the table, while the actual speaker system is not visible at all.
The vibro speaker is simply screwed into the mount ...

... just like a suction cup for window glass

    PS

I brought this speaker to the office and showed it to my colleagues.
There was a wow effect - no one had ever seen a vibrodynamic speaker live, although many had heard of this technology.
On wooden partitions of “working cubes” and wooden tables, he sounded very good. So the question of finding an audio system for the New Year's party in the office has disappeared.

At a price of about 4000 rubles, this is a good purchase and a great gift.
