HP blended reality

Yesterday, HP released the HP Sprout product , which is a desktop computer with 3 cameras ... it's better to just see it:

This joy is worth $ 1900. We have not seen any resellers yet.
The company also announced the creation of its own 3D printer , they declare that it will be fast, economical and high quality. Autodesk recommends. No technical specifications yet.

And the entire class of these HP products is served under the Mixed Reality sauce .

It looks like a new breath.

About a year ago, I saw an add-on on the iPad that allowed children to use real-world objects in games, but how much such an approach would be convenient in daily work, and most importantly what interfaces should become, because it is clear that the next step is to switch from the 2D plane of the table into the 3D space above it (Leap Motion).

What Sprout application do you find for yourself?
