Mac Os Mavericks Yosemite Upgrade Available Last Night

On the evening of October 16, all owners of Mac OS Mavericks became available to upgrade to a new version of Apple's operating system - Yosemite.

All owners of Apple computers and laptops can do this for free through the AppStore app.

Along with an upgrade of the operating system, updates were released for all major Apple programs - iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, and the now free office suite of programs from Apple - Keynote, Pages, Numbers, was updated. Safari and several other programs have also been updated.

Among the main innovations and changes - a new interface, Notification Center, Dock, iCloud came out of beta and became fully functional.

All owners of the following devices can upgrade:

• iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
• MacBook (13-inch, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
• MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later), (15-inch, Mid / Late 2007 or later), ( 17-inch, Late 2007 or later)
• MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
• Mac Mini (Early 2009 or later)
• Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
• Xserve (Early 2009)

Before upgrading, it is recommended that you back up with Time machine.
