The 2016 Ruby Hero Russia Award is an award for outstanding contributions to the development of technology and the Ruby language community.

Initially, we invited each of you to nominate a hero who, from your point of view, is worthy of an award. By the time of summing up the nominees, we had nine of which, most often, four were nominated.

A week before the conference, we launched a vote and you chose the most worthy of the best. The fight was played out in earnest and by the time of the award the results were as follows:

It is very pleasant that we did not have an unconditional leader. The lag of Anton from Vitali is only nine votes. It is nice to know that in our country there are many heroes worthy of a reward.

The winner of the 2016 Ruby Hero Russia Award is Anton Davydov.

Anton received a commemorative crystal figurine from his hands and with a personal signature of Yukihiro Matsumoto. Other photos Friends, we really hope that you liked the idea of the award.
