How will they pay in RuNet in 2020?

imageFrom November 1 to November 3, Russian Interactive Week will be held at the Moscow Expocenter . The PayOnline electronic payment system , which has been a RIW payment partner since 2012, will hold a futuristic section “How we will pay in Russia in 2020: forecasts and fantasies” as part of the event.

According to international experts, by 2020, payment systems will undergo major changes and will be very different from what we see now. Fundamental changes are already taking place in real time: digital technologies are constantly being complicated and improved; the noticeable influence of regulatory authorities is growing, and the expectations of customers, in particular, retail buyers of goods and services, are changing.

Among the main directions of development of payment services, a noticeable simplification of all aspects for the user is noted: from access and navigation to visual solutions. We are already promised a massive introduction of payments in virtual reality: a user who puts on special glasses and a headset on his fingers will be able to touch, try on and purchase the goods he likes, including shoes and clothes.

Form factors of payments will also change: built-in NFC-chips in clothes, bracelets, watches or rings will cease to be a “curiosity” and will become an everyday element of customer experience.
