Denunciation to the studio: German Klimenko asked to postpone the closure of "pirated" sites, since he owns a torrent tracker

    Last week, German Klimenko spoke on the issue of the prosecution of "pirates" on the Internet. When the authorities, it would seem, drove them into a corner, the newly-made adviser proposed to give them a "live" at least until the end of the economic crisis.

    He explained this by the fact that there is no need to further anger ordinary Internet users. After all, they will lose priceless (read: free) collections of films, music, books and other illegally distributed content.

    But now, thanks to attentive “well-wishers” with a heightened sense of justice, Russia has learned curious facts that run counter to the bright image of a “fighter for the development of Internet initiatives”:

    • The “pirated” torrent tracker Torrnado.ru is advertised on the Liveinternet main page;

    • The Torrnado.ru domain belongs to ECO PC - Complex Solutions LLC, in SPARK-Interfax it means that ECO-PC-Complex Solutions LLC belongs to Alevtina Yakobson;

    • In 2015, Roskomnadzor registered Mediametrics, an affiliate of German Klimenko’s Mediametrics, as a media outlet;

    • The founder of the Media Mediametrics was ECO RS-Integrated Solutions LLC;

    • Owner of 100% of the company - Alevtina Jacobson;

    • According to Herman Klimenko, quoted by Firrma, Jacobson is his “old employee.”

    Based on these facts, Vedomosti, not without prompting the well-wishers, concludes that German Klimenko owns the above tracker. Torrnado.ru offers users illegal video content. Anonymous interlocutors of Vedomosti claim that once after January 4, 2016, German Klimenko handed Torrnado to his son, Yuri Klimenko.

    Klimenko Sr. evaded a direct answer to the question whether Torrnado.ru belongs to him and did not answer questions related to the legality of the content on this resource. However, in one of his posts on Facebook, he admitted that he “never denied” his involvement in Torrnado, Vedomosti writes .

    Naturally, after being appointed adviser to the president on the Internet, German Klimenko attracted public attention. It can be said under the magnifying glass of thoughtful "well-wishers." It is clear that interesting facts have opened up about his business and past achievements. It turned out that the first big money Klimenko earned on MMM.

    The problem is that the president took him by surprise with his proposal. Apparently, the newly-made adviser simply did not manage to cover the tracks and join the ranks of government officials with a “crystal clear” reputation, transferring all (dubious and not so) businesses to relatives and “old employees”. As a result, they informed him where he should, and even where he should not.
