How we bought blogger reviews through NoRetype or how to get a visitor at a price of 333 rubles apiece
The NoRetype project promotes the appearance of reviews about your web service on the pages of popular blogs - it is written on the NoRetype.ru website . How much it helps, we decided to test experimentally.
The object of advertising was the new social network of Limpa .
The resource is aimed at a youth audience. Based on this, the NoRetype manager was asked to pick up popular bloggers from www.mail.ru , www.liveinternet.ru + a small number of IT bloggers, including offline blogs.
Judging by the answer that came from the manager, a massive number of more or less popular bloggers.
Initially, we were offered 8 blogs with the following parameters.
Place in Yandex blog / blog hosting / price
47 place / LiRu / 3000 rubles.
1464 place / LJ / 1000 rubles.
3721 place / LiRu / 800 rubles.
4697 place / LiRu / 600 rubles.
323 place / LiRu / 600 rubles.
217 place / LiRu / 800 rubles.
not found / Blogspot / 600 rub.
6970 / LJ / 600 rub.
Two bloggers refused to write reviews (including one that would be in 47th place), one of them was replaced - as a result, 7 bloggers wrote a review about limpa.ru. These reviews cost us 6,000 rubles.
A top blogger at number 1 according to the version of Yandex blogs for only 4000 rubles was also offered, but we refused.
All but one review were detailed, the authors really looked at the site to write the text. Selected blogs did not have a narrow topic.
What did the reviews give us? With 7 reviews from not-so-popular blogs, we got 18 visitors. Thus, 1 visitor cost us 333 rubles 33 kopecks . We expected a bad result, but did not expect the result to be virtually zero.
What morality I learned from this mini-experiment:
1. Buy reviews on general blogs - throw money away. No traffic, no result.
2. A more effective post on a narrow-topic blog, offering a highly specialized product. For example, on the seo blog, offer seo software. (If anyone has personal experience with such advertising, please share.)
3. The NoRetype service does not yet have a large base of bloggers. For example, we were not able to offer blogs with mail.ru, although we wanted to.
4. Bloggers are not very profitable to write reviews yet. If the service takes at least half the cost, the blogger will receive 300-400 rubles each, and the top bloggers in the region of 1500-2000 rubles.
