DUMP 2016 Conference Program: See Who's Performing This Year

    Hello, Habr!

    We invite all developers, testers, mobile developers, designers and development managers to the spring super-it event - on April 8, the sixth DUMP conference will be held in Yekaterinburg . Reports will go in 7 sections: FrontTalks, Serverside, Mobile, Web-design, DevOps, Testing, Management.

    We are finishing the final grid and discussing the details of the latest reports, but 80% of the program is ready. A ticket now costs 4,500 rubles, but in a week it will be more expensive.

    What will happen in the FrontTalks section ?

    • The web evangelist in Opera Software , the head of the Web Standards project, Vadim Makeev (St. Petersburg), will talk about grid and show examples of use for real tasks;
    • Leading front-end developer Yandex Alexei Androsov (Moscow) will talk about React-native - a new framework for developing cross-platform applications for iOS and Android;
    Anton Shuvalov from Lazada (Moscow), will explain why console.log is bad and how to save time on debugging in Dev Tools;
    Vitaly Zyuzin , course developer and tutor at HTML Academy(St. Petersburg) will tell you how to understand if there is a bug in your browser, how to help the browser developers catch and fix it, but until this happy event has happened, how to try to bypass the error;
    Vladimir Grinenko and Vitaliy Kharisov from Yandex (Simferopol) will make a report “BEM without BEM-Tools”.
    • Front-end developer Avito Roman Dvornov (Moscow) will talk about the principles of CSSO, new ideas for optimizations and changes in recent releases.

    Oleg Bartunov ( Postgres Professional , Moscow), will give a talk about the present and future of PostgreSQL;
    • The author of Swarm.js, Victor Grishchenko, will explain why Swarm is a “DB upside down”;
    Alexander Kazakov (SKB Kontur) will tell how distributed applications are profiled in Kontur;
    • The head of the prototyping department at the IT Center Sergey Petunin will try to answer the question “How smart is the smart compiler in Java 9?”
    Alexander Denisov from Naumenhe will talk about the features of software localization, and Andrey Arkaev - about using json / xml in the PostgreSQL and Oracle databases to store arbitrary attributes;
    Ruslan Talipov will explain what Transfer Learning is and tell you how to start using convolution networks in your project with minimal costs.

    What will happen in the Mobile section ?

    Denis Neklyudov , an Android development expert with the status of Google Developer Expert (Moscow), will describe in detail how tests are written in Android;
    • Google’s official expert, leader of the Android development group at RedMadRobot (Moscow) Maxim Efimov will tell you what the Java Memory Model is, explain what nuances await the developer when writing multi-threaded code, and how to take this into account in Android applications;
    • iOS development engineer at Rambler & Co Alexander Sychev in his report will show and tell how, using such an abstraction as a finite state machine, to solve the problem of managing a complex object with many internal states;

    Ivan Kokorin ( Vostok Projects ) on the practical experience of scaling in the Amazon cloud using Auto Scaling, Spot Instances, boto, anisble and zabbix, will tell you how to scale in the cloud and save the company's budget;
    Alexey Larkov from SKB Kontur will give a talk about Moira - a monitoring system based on data sent to Graphite;
    • Lead developer of 2GIS Denis Yakovlev(Novosibirsk) will talk about the infrastructure problems faced by their teams, about the implementation of OpenStack and how automation has affected the development of the entire business;
    Maxim Glekov ( Mail.Ru Group , Moscow) will explain how the release engineering of Mail.ru is arranged internally;
    Andrey Khitrin ( Naumen ) will talk about his experience in cooking craft stress testing framework. SIP, RTP, HTTP, distribution, small services, large services and healthy databases - that’s all.

    Maxim Akhmadinurov , a scrum-master of development and a quality specialist at Button , will teach how to quickly and clearly make simple and understandable metrics with the help of Google Docs that will change the life of the company;
    • Using the example of the Naumen Contact Center, Andrey Zaitsev (Naumen) will explain how to develop a product by competing with world monsters;
    Sergey Bobin (Arnika, Denta) will teach how to measure and increase the value of a product for a user;

    • The head of the Parallels automated testing team Vasily Nikishin (Tallinn) will use Parallels as an example to tell you how to create a self -testing team in atypical conditions;
    Andrey Usov , testing specialist in 2GIS , will teach you how to test the network part of a mobile application correctly;
    Kirill Ratkin ( SKB Kontur ) will teach how to plan the development of autotests;
    Evgeny Sabirov ( Host ) will talk about the criteria for a good test infrastructure. He will also talk about how he manages to practically not spend time supporting autotests;
    Andrey Malykh from Abak Presswill talk about test automation using Appium and Cucumber;
    • What can unite a professional community so that it does not break up after some time, but exists for years? Anastasia Ronzhina from SKB Kontur will try to answer this question;
    Artyom Aksyonov from ITM Holding will explain how to survive the testing department in the changing cohabitation of the Waterfall and Scrum .

    Ekaterina Akatova from Mail.Ru Group (Moscow), will teach how to test a product without a laboratory: methods, tools, limitations and advantages of remote research;
    Yaroslav Shuvaev, product owner Alfa-Mobile in Alfa-Bank, curator of UX&UI intensive at the British Higher School of Design, on the example of a mobile application Alfa-Bank will tell you how to plan and implement improvements to the user experience of the product in conditions of flexible production;
    • UI / UX designer, creative director of Openlac. Design Bureau Anatoly Ivanov will share his experience working with foreign customers, and tell you what the pain is;
    Andrey Karmatsky, the head of Urbica Design studio (Moscow), will tell you how the process of creating interfaces working with complex data is arranged, how it differs from traditional web interfaces, what you need to consider when visualizing data, and what tools are available today to start doing this ;
