Announcement ThinkJava # 3. Microservices

    Friends, we invite everyone to attend our third ThinkJava meeting. This time we fully devote it to the topic of microservices: what it is, how to start using them, what problems you may encounter and how to solve them, as well as how to ensure the security of the application with microservice architecture.

    Over the past few years, microservices have remained one of the most relevant approaches to the development of large applications. Last fall, NIX Solutions experts studied all the nuances of microservice architecture at Spring One 2GX, the largest international industry conference. Since then, our developers have managed to try out a lot of what they heard in practice, experiment with microservices, step on some rakes, learn to avoid mistakes or eliminate their consequences without loss. And at the same time mastered various tools for developing microservice applications.

    At the third ThinkJava mini-conference, our speakers will share their knowledge and experience in working with microservices. Two reports await you with answers to the most pressing questions today:

    Microservices and their friends

    Speakers : Ivan Krivorotenko and Vlad Stus

    • What exactly are these microservices that everyone is talking about?
    • What are their advantages over the traditional approach to application development?
    • The interaction between services, problems and typical tasks that arise, as well as some ready-made solutions that need only to be applied correctly.

    How to feel safe when using microservices

    Speaker : Vitaly Tsymbalyuk

    Security issues in large corporate applications are always at the forefront, and in a monolithic architecture they are solved quite uniformly, since the application is a single whole. But when we move on to microservice architecture, the difficulties begin. Indeed, in fact, we are dealing with several applications, access to which must be controlled. In the report we will discuss:

    • What are the security approaches for microservice applications?
    • Their advantages and disadvantages;
    • Is there an ideal solution that will make you feel safe with minimal effort?

    So, on the ThinkJava # 3 menu:
    • discussion of the nuances of developing microservice applications;
    • answers to your questions on the topic;
    • sweet coffee breaks that will make your hot discussions even brighter and more enjoyable;
    • presentation of Dukes to speakers;
    • testing a new platform for the conference - the hub "Factory".

    We hope that here our meetings will be held in an even more comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
