The digest of interesting materials for the mobile # 137 developer (on January 18-24)
This week - the story of one interesting progress bar, higher prices on the App Store, rumors about the closure of the Lumia and Windows Phone line, talk about UI and UX and much more interesting from the world of mobile applications.
Probably any programmer who develops a user interface in C # / XAML had to write custom controls. In our fun 2GIS team for Windows Phone, we do this quite often, and such tasks have become almost a chore. But about one case I want to tell in more detail. It all started with the fact that once we needed to write a very peculiar progress bar.
One of my acquaintances, an asocial type, a woman and C ++ hater, became interested in developing games for iOS. For about 7 years he has been engaged in this intoxicating affair. Once a year, he sends me income reports, and allows me to share them with a reputable community.
