    On October 20, members of the Moscow Atlassian community will gather for the second time in the office of Mail.Ru Group. Like-minded people will share practical experience and discuss the intricacies of using Atlassian products. In the program, as usual, several reports and communication of guests over a cup of coffee.

    Nikita Teplov , Mail.Ru Group, “The Seven Deadly Sins or How not to Break JIRA”

    Some tips on how to avoid serious mistakes when administering JIRA. How to prevent performance degradation with system growth and prevent long downtime due to your own laziness. Based on real events.

    Georgy belgeor Belousov , ZAO PETER SERVICE, “Data Migration to JIRA through the Database”

    We at the company are actively moving from three different tracking systems to JIRA, or rather we are already at the final stage. The total number of entities for transfer is about 500,000. In the report I will tell you how it was. At first, the approach to migration was through the API, then we were faced with the need to transfer history, dates, attachments, etc., as well as too long a migration time. The approach changed, and in the end, through trial, error, and experimentation with the database structure, it was completely redesigned toward direct migration to the database. The total time has significantly decreased, the speed has become more than good, the purity of the data has increased.

    Alexey pifagor_mc Petrov , Mail.Ru Group, “In JIRA we trust!”

    JIRA is a powerful tool in skilled hands. However, it often happens that even with such a multifunctional weapon, we do not always know how to use it in full force. My report will tell about the nuances of using JIRA, convenient mechanics of the native JIRA functionality and a number of plug-ins for it, which allow you to build development and testing processes.

    What will not be in this report:

    • fairy tales about building an ideal workflow;
    • tiresome tediousness.

    What will happen:

    • tricks and hidden rooms in JQL;
    • Useful gadgets and desktop designs
    • JIRA customization according to the Pareto rule;
    • a couple of JIRA training tips;
    • living examples from the daily practice of working with JIRA over the past 5 years.

    Stanislav Dashkovsky , Align Technology, “Big Bamboo Farm”

    At Align Technology, we have been using Bamboo for over four years. During this time, it was possible to grow bamboo to almost the maximum size (by the standards of bamboo, 80+ agents). We have many different technologies and requirements, and we learned from our own mistakes. The report will talk about the problems of a large farm and their solution (or why 100 agents is really the maximum).

    Beginning at 19:00. Address: Leningradsky Prospekt 39, p. 79 (metro Airport).
