The "Return" button and other little things in the assembly Vivaldi 1.0.233.3

    Hello!

So, the new week brings a new weekly build. It does not have a lot of externally noticeable changes, but at the same time you will find some interesting solutions inside. So, first things first.

    Update without a cache

In the new assembly, it became possible to update the page directly from the server, bypassing the browser cache. This feature can be useful to web developers when they need to immediately evaluate the changes made to the site code on the server. You can activate this type of page refresh using the keyboard shortcuts - Ctrl + F5, Ctrl / ⌘ + ⇧, Shift + R.

    Return

The “Return” button allows you to return to the browsing history, but it does it differently from the usual “Back” button. The latter allows you to return to the original page step by step, without missing a single previously opened page. The “Return” button allows you to quickly jump to the home page of a site or section. For example, if you went to an online store, looked at several products, and then went to the forum to read reviews, then when you click the "Return" button, the following actions will occur:

    1. Return to the first page of the forum you visited from the store
    2. Return to the last page viewed with the product
    3. Return to the first page of the store (or to the one with which you started browsing)

To better understand how this works, try experimenting on your own. We hope you enjoy this convenient feature.
