Report on the past Defcon Moscow meeting



    Recently, the ninth meeting of information security specialists Defcon Moscow was held in our office. There were many people who wanted to attend the meeting, but not everyone had the opportunity, so we recorded all the performances and share these videos with you.

    Sergey Vishnyakov , coordinator of the DC7499 group, opened the meeting with his story about further plans for the development of the Defcon conference.

    Then Timur Yunusov spoke , who spoke about the intricacies of social engineering as part of penetration testing. Timur specializes in an in-depth analysis of the security of web applications and related services, as well as research in the field of information security.

    The following report was presented by Oleg Kupreev aka 090h, a leading researcher at Digital Security, a consultancy in the field of information security. Oleg's report is dedicated to vulnerabilities in telecommunication equipment software.

    Mikhail Elizarov aka SapIt shared information on how to conduct a MITM attack based on vulnerabilities found in network equipment.

    And at the end of the meeting, Defcon special guest Ivan Novikov aka d0znpp, founder and leader of the Wallarm startup, which develops website protection systems, spoke hacker attacks through vulnerabilities in web applications. Ivan is also known as a whitehat hacker.
