May Python Meetup: Machine Learning and Where to Put Sources

  • Tutorial
Hello! We want to share with you recordings of performances from the previous Python Meetup. This time we discussed the usefulness of saving source code with Grigory Petrov and the features of using machine learning with Andrén Greenenko.

Where to put the source / Grigory Petrov

Grigory told how a typical project grows from several tens of lines of code into a multi-megabyte monster with a hundred dependencies, and what to do about it so that it is not painfully painful. He told the public about the crazy evolutionary theory of software development, gave many examples from life, as a result of which he showed the development of large projects from an unexpected angle.

Machine Learning and National Economy / Andrey Grinenko

Big search and speech recognition, credit scoring and advertising display - more and more processes and technologies are optimized using modern data analysis. Andrei spoke about the basic principles of machine learning and presented cases of its application in real life.

In June, we celebrate the Python Meetup biennium ! In this regard, we rescheduled Friday's meeting on Saturday and prepared an interesting program:

  • How to name variables / Grigory Petrov / Moscow
  • Containers. We need to go deeper / Philip Kucheryavy / Minsk
  • World of Jenkins / Alexander Zhukov / St. Petersburg
  • Pair programming. Remotely / Sergey Alekseev / Minsk
  • Know and love your PyObject, you are a programmer / Alexander Koshkin / St. Petersburg

Also, each mitap participant will be able to demonstrate mastery in writing the perfect code. As part of the June meeting, we will hold the first Coding contest at the Python Meetup!

In the announcement you will find a detailed program and registration form.

See you at the Python Meetup!
