Windows most patched components for the first half of 2013

    We compiled a rating of the Windows components that turned out to be the most correctable in the first half of 2013, as part of the Patch Tuesday fixes. The ranking did not include components focused solely on Windows Server and components of other products, for example, Microsoft Office.



    In the chart under the column “Other”, we combined the components for which no more than two vulnerabilities were fixed. The table below provides detailed information for each component.



    As you can see, the most correctable components were: Internet Explorer browser, the driver of the Windows subsystem - Win32k.sys, .NET Framework and the ntoskrnl OS kernel. Vulnerabilities that were declared as exploited by itw at the time of their closure are marked in red.
