Spanish Domains - March 3

Starting March 3, names in the .org zone can be registered using Spanish letters (for example, á, ç, è, ñ, ö). Thus, Spanish stood on a par with German, Hungarian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and other languages.

To protect brand owners, all domains registered from March 3 to April 2 will be “frozen” until May 2. This period has been set aside for resolving possible disputes that may arise if squatters capture domains.
