Norwegian Kåre Halvorsen unveiled his new invention, a robot named MorpHex MKII. He can tighten his “legs” and turn into a moving ball.

The first version of the robot in the shape of a ball could only move in a circle. And this one is able to move in a straight line. Perhaps this is the first robot hexapod, which can be controlled to roll downhill.

The robot consists of several sections, each of which is equipped with two servomotors. They allow the device to roll, clean and extend its legs.
