Interlight Moscow 2014 - what's new in coverage?

    By tradition , this year I again went to the Interlight Moscow exhibition. This exhibition of lighting-related technologies has been held since 1994 and is the largest in the CIS.

    A noticeable trend this year has become a variety of lenses for LEDs that give uneven lighting:

    If you look closely, the structure of the lamp is a little visible there. There are many small crystals of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes, on top of which they are flooded with a phosphor, which turns UV into white light. Pluses - uniformity of lighting and the absence of a point source.

    lot of applications - for example, you can make a very compact car alarm keychain due to the fact that there is no need for a bunch of structural elements - the card is the internal surface of the keychain:

    Another company (also Russian) showed a line of sealants and compounds for various applications:

    The problem with their application is that they begin to harden after mixing and in the whole volume - if you make 10 liters of the mixture immediately, then you need to spend all of them for the “life time” of the sealant, otherwise it will harden immediately in the entire volume - in the container, in the tubes and nozzle. Therefore, tricky machines are invented for mixing:

    Her nozzle, for example, is not simple, but is a long tube with partitions, in which the components of the sealant are mixed together during the passage through it:

    And, for example , Dar Light Russian induction lamps : The cost of such a lamp is lower than the cost LED of the same power, and the service life is higher. They also have an even spectrum and a high color rendering index, which many LEDs cannot boast of. The company " Impulse " makes a variety of electronic displays.     On the photo, by the way, An interesting thing is the LED lamp in the form factor of the fluorescent tube, which you can just take and replace the fluorescent lamp (you just need to change the lamp starter to a special one from the kit). A good solution for those who want to switch to LEDs from fluorescent lamps, but do not want to change the fixtures. And they only have one side of the power supply, and you can pick it up and arrange lightsaber fights.
    They are not very expensive - $ 3 for 60cm and $ 5 for a 150-cm lamp. The company ’s site , but they don’t sell retail. There are similar ones on Aliexpress, you can search for “led tube lamp t8”.
    Although some Chinese still show lights without flickering. True, they make it easier - in their opinion, the inscription “No flash” next to the price is quite enough:

    Two large pavilions were allocated to the Chinese comrades. True, not everyone there was active, the participation of some companies was limited to a shelf with three types of products and a sleeping Chinese in a chair nearby. The reasons for this have already told zorins in his LJ :

    And the exhibition is small, and not quite on their topic. Just wasted money.
    The answer is simple. A trip to the exhibition is organized centrally, the package includes: flight, accommodation, a built-up booth and even three meals a day.
    Then 70% of the costs will be offset by the Chinese government through the industry association.
    And another 50% is compensated by the Shenzhen government through the Shenzhen association.

    But this is not the Chinese anymore. A fun luminaire with powerful LEDs that require good cooling. But you need to fit into the standard dimensions. So you need to make cool long radiators:

    A separate pavilion was reserved for design and interior pieces - all sorts of chandeliers and sconces, most of which are expensive and ponte. People there were also important and dressed in jackets:

    It was scary and uncomfortable for me with a backpack and jeans, so I left there, and began to look for something more familiar. And I found old friends.

    What's new

    Motion sensors (PM111), temperature sensors (PT112), and combined temperature-humidity sensors (PT111) are manufactured and sold. If the motion sensor was already seen last year (and even wrote on GT), and it has not changed:

    Actually, the temperature sensor itself is a small black dot above the contacts in the center of the board. And the contacts - this is the place for the humidity sensor - the board is the same for different models, it differs in firmware and the presence of the sensor.
    The cool functionality of this sensor is the ability to work as a thermostat:

    Set the switch to thermostat mode, tie it to the receiver, set the desired temperature, and connect the heater to the unit. Everything, now it will turn on the load on the unit when the temperature drops below the set value, and turn it off when it is exceeded. The same functionality, but for humidity is on the combined unit - you can turn on the fan when the humidity level is exceeded, for example in the bathroom.

    The ethernet gateway (PR1132) is also being manufactured and sold, although this is not very recent news - they already wrote about it on the hub

    But now they have developed and posted in the AppStore the official iOS application for controlling light through a router:

    It does not yet have all the intended functionality, but what it is works and is quite convenient. The next step is an Android application, it will be available for download on Play in a couple of weeks.

    Via UART. Do you want with Arduino, do you want with RPi, do you want from any other single-player. Yes, even with a Chinese router - there is also a UART there. For example, a demo stand with Arduino:

    There the program is simple - read the value of the variable from the ADC, convert it to percent, send a command to set the brightness at this level. But no one bothers to make much more complex logic.

    They also finally decided to reduce the number of different versions of executive blocks in order to unify production and stop confusing people with a bunch of blocks: The

    block with the SU index is new - this is a universal block that replaces all the previous ones. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the block, only manuals. But there you can see that between the connection wires there is another wire, closed. So far he has closed - the block works like SL-blocks, in relay mode. If you break it, for example a bite, the unit will work as SN / ST, with the possibility of dimming the load. I would prefer a switch, of course, but this option is not bad either. At least, the blocks can be configured at the time of installation, and not buy a strictly specified number of those and other blocks.

    Future plans:
