Android L ported to Nexus 4, while unofficially

Just yesterday , the news was published on Habré that Google posted a preview version of the source code for Android L. Today, on the Web, information appeared that the new version of Android, Android L, was ported to Nexus 4.

The current version of Android L for Nexus 4 is based on the official (development) build for Nexus 5. The port for Nexus 4 is non-official, and it is also based on the version for developers, so there can be even more glitches / bugs than in the official development version.

The work on adapting the "five" (Android L) to the "four" (Nexus 4) was performed by xda-developers users, who carried out all the work and published the results on July 5 . Now there is work on polishing / eliminating bugs, all this is quite laborious.

Here the most stable versions are laid out, with support for WiFi, 3G, a camera and other hardware. In addition, the Google Play Store and other applications also work.

Before conducting experiments with your smartphone, it is recommended, as usual, to backup all the data.
