Bags with integrated socket

American Josh Cross launched a fundraiser on the Kickstarter project GoPlug Charging Bags - a set of travel bags with its own built-in battery. GoPlug bags can charge equipment through standard interfaces (power outlet and USB) while the user is on the go or out of reach of outlets.

The GoPlug project includes several types of bags: a laptop case, a travel suitcase of various modifications, a backpack, a bag for cameras. At the same time, they are all waterproof. The built-in battery capacity is enough to fully charge a smartphone six times, a tablet two times, a laptop about two times. All outlets are mounted on a swivel mechanism so that gadgets can be connected inside the bags while they are being transported, or outside during use by the owner. About how much batteries increase the weight of the bag, the author is silent, but writes how much they will cost on his site - $ 65- $ 85

The price of GoPlug bags starts at $ 139. For a successful start of the project, Josh needs 65 thousand dollars. Until the end of the fundraising, 7 days remained and a little more than 25 thousand were collected. Given how clumsy photos of prototypes look, the project is unlikely to raise the right amount. But as an idea for DIY, such a suitcase can easily come up.
