For a year and a half, the number of electric vehicles registered in Russia increased more than 2.5 times, from 920 to 2,500 units. According to the Avtostat agency, the vast majority of electric vehicle fleets are Nissan Leaf models, and Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Tesla Model S occupy second and third places in popularity with a very large lag.

Here are the statistics for July 1, 2018:

    1. Nissan Leaf - 1800 pcs.
    2. Mitsubishi i-MiEV - 294 pcs.
    3. Tesla Model S - 202 pcs.

    Mitsubishi i-MiEV

These three models account for more than 90% of the entire Russian fleet of electric vehicles. In it there are more exotic cars, including the only instance of Tesla Model 3 in the country:

    • Lada Ellada - 93 pcs.
    • Tesla Model X - 88 pcs.
    • Renault Twizy - 27 pcs.
    • BMW i3 - 11 pcs.
    • Tesla Model 3 - 1 pc.

The most "electrified" region of Russia is not Moscow or St. Petersburg at all, but the Primorsky Territory, where about 25% of Russian cars with electric power plants are registered (586 units). For comparison, in Moscow there are only 369 of them, in the Moscow region - 98, and in St. Petersburg - 73. A large number of electric cars drives along the roads of the Khabarovsk Territory, Krasnodar Territory, Irkutsk and Amur Regions.

It is strange that in Russia there is not a single electric vehicle of the Chinese assembly, although in China they collect very cheap and affordable models. Probably, their import in Russia is somehow complicated.

At the same time, the Russian company "Kalashnikov" recently introduced a new model of electric car CV-1 , which has already been called the killer "Tesla" .

The concept of an electric supercar based on the Soviet IZH-Combi liftback “

This technology will allow us to stand on a par with world manufacturers of electric cars, such as Tesla, and compete with them. When creating our concept, we were inspired by the experience of world market leaders, ”reported the Kalashnikov Concern.

“The battery of an electric supercar feeds a revolutionary inverter, with dimensions of 50x50x100 cm and a mass of 50 kg, and allows us to develop capacities up to 1.2 MW of payload. Battery capacity - 90 kW / h. The presented concept, built on the basis of the retrokuzov IZh-21252 “Kombi”, is a bench for testing developed complex systems. Their condition is governed by a common on-board computer designed by the Kalashnikov concern, which allows you to track the status of the engine, inverter and battery. Power CV-1 - 220 kW, peak - 500 kW. Power reserve of the car is 350 km. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h is 6 seconds, ”the message of“ Kalashnikov ”said.

In addition to the supercar CV-1 on the basis of IL-21252 "Kombi", Kalashnikov Concern also presented at the international forum "Army-2018"electric car UV-4 for the civilian market .

Electric car UV-4 for the civil market.

    Technical characteristics of UV-4:

    • Motor type: brushless dc motor
    • Power: up to 50 kW
    • Maximum speed: 80 km / h
    • Power reserve: up to 150 km
    • Weight: 650 kg
    • Battery type: LiFePO4, LiPO
    • Dimensions (LBH), mm: 3440 × 1530 × 1730

It is reported that the electric car "has a high smoothness and low fire and explosion hazard in the event of an accident." In addition, the car "is easy to use and requires minimal maintenance."

The Avtostat agency conducted a previous study of the electric vehicle market in Russia in January 2017. At that time, the Russian fleet was 920 cars , and the share of Nissan Leaf was much smaller: only 37%, not 70%, as it is now.

Here are the statistics for January 1, 2017:

    1. Nissan Leaf - 340 pcs.
    2. Mitsubishi i-MiEV - 263 pcs.
    3. Tesla Model S - 177 pcs.
    4. Lada Ellada - 93 pcs.

Renault Twizy, Tesla Model X and BMW i3 have less than 20 pcs.

According to statistics, in a year and a half the Russian fleet of Tesla Model S increased by 25 units, Mitsubishi i-MiEV - by 31 units, Lada Ellada - by 0 units, and Nissan Leaf - by 1460 units. Perhaps some kind of error has crept into the study of Avtostat.
