- If you are asked for a phone number or other personal information, find out exactly who is asking. Look at the address of the web page: if it has errors or other oddities, the page is most likely unsafe. For example, the Yandex address is yandex.ru, and the address yandex.ru.546827.84756.ru is no longer Yandex.
- Use software that reduces the chance of being hooked. We recommend that you install, for example, Yandex.Browser or our Firefox assembly. They warn about pages that are better not to open.
