All in 1: all-in-one Fujitsu ESPRIMO X913-T

The modern user, spoiled by thin monitors, the thickness of a normal monoblock only hurts the eye. Therefore, the developers of X913-T went to the trick: they placed all the components of the system unit not in the monitor case, but in the stand, killing two birds with one stone: they managed to make the monitor fashionably thin, and the stand became large and massive, due to which the system gained increased resistance to overturning. The user received an elegant 23-inch monitor, in the stand of which there are many useful connectors - and there is no need to climb under the table to stick a USB flash drive or headphones, and IT-worms ... They really have paradise: reducing the number of cords by two (power supply for the monitor and DVI ) greatly increases reliability, because the banal loss of contact is one of the most common reasons for calling an IT specialist to the workplace.

The X913-T box contains several useful things, in particular a mouse and keyboard with multimedia keys, both wired. However, this is only a basic option, there are more advanced kits, up to the 2.4 GHz wireless kit LX900 with a ten-button laser mouse as an option.

The X913-T display has two degrees of freedom - the lower leg bracket allows you to raise and lower the panel, and the upper rotate in a very wide range. The screen can even be expanded horizontally and used as a large tablet, since it is touch sensitive and detects up to ten simultaneous touches.

The question begs, what should the user sacrifice for beauty and convenience? In fact, nothing but a discrete video adapter and optical drive - yes, it did not fit. In general, inside the X913-T is more than worthy. Fujitsu's proprietary D3204 motherboard is based on the Intel Q77 Express chipset and has all the relying features (USB 3.0, gigabit network controller, vPro). Considering Fujitsu's vast experience in the development and production of motherboards, this is a serious application for the stable operation of the all-in-one for many years. The board is equipped with a low-voltage processor for the LGA1155 socket up to Intel Core i5 vPro, and up to 16 GB of DDR3-1600 memory with two SO-DIMMs, a 2.5-inch hard drive or solid-state drive - i.e. quite serious configurations are available.
In addition to performance, Fujitsu decided to please the user with a picture, equipping the monoblock monitor with an IPS matrix. The price was not influenced too much, but the viewing angles are much better, and the colors do not swim when the line of sight is tilted, and this is very important when working at the computer constantly. An interesting detail - a kind of oblong device rises above the X913-T monitor, and this is not a simple webcam, as you can guess from its size.

This is the know-how of Fujitsu - a multi-functional module. It holds the webcam, microphone and ultrasonic presence detector. The most obvious use of this module is to participate in video conferencing, but now you will not surprise anyone. But the function of entering the system for face recognition is not yet very common. The ultrasonic sensor will block the session when the user leaves the computer, which has a beneficial effect on safety and energy saving. However, the monoblock behavior in this regard is flexibly configured.
Regarding security and administration features. Imagining the use of the X913-T in the corporate sector, Fujitsu developers provided it with a smart card reader, TPM module. As befits a serious office machine, the all-in-one fully supports Intel vPro and iAMT. In addition, it is worth considering the DeskView management pack developed and supported by Fujitsu itself - with its help you can easily monitor the operation of the machine and, if necessary, manage it.
Of course, Fujitsu could not get around such a current topic as energy saving. We approached this issue in all seriousness and did not limit ourselves to simply installing a low-voltage processor. Thus, the power supply is certified 80 PLUS Gold and its efficiency reaches 90% and does not fall below 87% even with a load of 10%. Thanks to the LED backlight and the advanced power control module, the monitor “eats” a few watts and in general the system consumes about 31 W in idle time — and yet, for example, for an office PC this is the main mode of operation.
In conclusion, it is worth mentioning the pressing problem of noise pollution. Whether you are at home or at work, a variety of equipment is constantly noisy around you, and computers make a very significant contribution to this cacophony. You can get used to this noise and stop noticing it, but it will not disappear from this, and will continue to cause harm to your health. But the ESPRIMO X913-T is practically not involved in this - its noise level does not exceed 18 dB in idle mode, which can be compared, perhaps, with a quiet whisper.
