Competition for the best Moscow metro scheme

The Department of Transport held a competition for a new version of the Moscow metro scheme. Three works went to the finals (via PDF links with a dozen megabytes each on the very slow Deptrans site):
    1. Scheme of "Artemy Lebedev Studio".
    2. Scheme of Ilya Birman.
    3. Scheme of the design center "RIA Novosti".

Now anyone can vote for his favorite option on the Deptrans website . Voting will last until January 31.

Stories about some stages of work on schemes:
    1. The story of Ludwig Bystronovsky + official description on the studio website .
    2. The story of Ilya Birman (the only one of the three participants who officially posted the final version of the scheme and a story about it; for example, the old version is still hanging on the website of Artemy Lebedev Studio).
    3. The story of Anton Mizinov.

Stories are also useful because they reveal hidden details of the schemes themselves. For example, Ludwig’s posts from “Artemy Lebedev Studio” made it possible to adjust the colors of the lines so that they are now “easier to recognize” by people with different degrees of color perception impairment (for example, in the scheme of Ilya Birman it’s almost impossible to distinguish the ring, red from the name of such people and green branches; as well as orange and light green). On a habr there was a separate topic which invited to make corrections to all comers.

Since the Deptrans website opens every other time, I post smaller versions of maps here (however, I strongly recommend trying to download high resolution PDF at the links at the beginning of the post):

UPD: The Deptrans site seems to be lying; the promised opening at 13:00 no vote yet.

UPD 2: the voting ballot opened , however, it is strange that, for example, a link to the description of the Lebedev Studio scheme leads to the old version of the scheme (the scheme itself, while a new one is shown in the voting).
