Network Trends Annual Report by Mary Meeker: Share of Android + iOS shipments growing (45% versus 35% for Windows)

Mary Meeker, one of the most influential analysts in Silicon Valley (a partner in the venture firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers), on December 3 made the famous annual report on trends in the Internet industry (a year ago it was already reported on Habré). According to the publication Business Insider, it should be read by everyone who works in the field of IT and software development, or is interested in technology.
The main idea of the report is that mobile devices dominate and the gap between them and the PC is growing.
One of the most impressive slides shows that users are buying more devices based on Android and IOS instead of Windows: Android + IOS occupy 45%, and Windows 35% , and the share of Windows is rapidly decreasing .
