Apple will begin selling iPhone 5 smartphones in Russia on December 14, 2012, the company’s press service said Monday. Confirmation is on the official website of the company.

Among other countries that will also meet iPhone 5 for the first time: Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, Grenada, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.

A smart Beeline has already begun to accept pre-orders for the iPhone 5, without prices, just like that.

It seems that Apple is starting to turn to face Russia, which cannot but rejoice. I'd like to hope that the pricing policy in relation to Russia will be revised.

UPD : Hopes for adequate prices did not materialize :(
