Cut the Rope in HTML5! From the idea in Moscow to the announcement at CES

Today at the CES conference in Las Vegas, one of the leading world scenes, the Microsoft plenary report announced the HTML5 version of one of the most popular games in the world - Cut the Rope !

Let me remind you, this is one of the world hits that has already been released on the iPhone, iPad, Android and made by the Russian company ZeptoLab. Cut the Rope was also the first game in the world to be shown on the current version of Windows 8 and in the new Windows Store about a month ago.

At the moment, the game has 25 levels available, including a special section only for users of Internet Explorer 9, which provides hardware acceleration of HTML5 graphics.

I would also like to note that this project began with our simple conversation last year in Moscow, where we discussed the possibilities and prospects of HTML5 - and today it’s really a global announcement from Microsoft!

I asked Semyon Voinov, one of the creators of the game, to answer some of my questions in a short mini-interview .
