Homemade game controller for Nokia N900

A craftsman named Andrzej became so close to his mobile phone, Nokia N900, that he decided to use it as a convenient gaming platform. Well, what is usually not enough for a comfortable game on a mobile phone? Of course, a normal game controller! Andrzej decided to create it independently, since he had the necessary knowledge and skills. No sooner said than done.
Andrzej has created a miniature gamepad, which is great for playing, and it connects quite conveniently. Connection is made via USB port. There are only 8 buttons on the gamepad (apparently, ordinary game buttons, plus Start, plus Select). The controller also includes a regular joystick, with PSP. Andrzej used ATmega8A as the “brain” for his controller.
According to him, some features of ATmega8A make it easy to use any keyboard shortcuts for any games. As you can see in the photo, the controller does not look very good so far, since there is no case, but this is a business, and the author of the development is now trying to create an equally interesting case for his device. In general, a very good project, agree.
