    Like many others, I’m already used to using Internet banking (in my case, private24). And also, I heard about evil carders (but what a sin there is, some of my friends programmers wrote scripts for them).

    Therefore, when I tried to send a payment in the privat24 system, instead of the usual SMS with a password (from number 10060), a window popped up that I should send the received SMS (by the way from number 3700) to the same number - I was surprised to say the least.
    I asked a friend to conduct a similar operation - he received an SMS with a password, an old model. “Well, here we are,” I thought, wondering what the threat of reinstalling the system + changing passwords would be. But out of the corner of my eye I noticed that in the footer of the site the number of the Privat-Bank SMS center is indicated: 3700 .

    So, either hacking the whole site and random visitors are being sent (which IMHO is too thin), or it's still the native “trick” of Privatbank.

    3. We call on the telephone number indicated on the website - the robot answers, you can’t get technical support.

    I’m trying to update the chat - I’m throwing everything at the same consultant who apparently just went somewhere. Great, I open the chat in another browser - oh, another consultant. This question answers the question “is there anyone alive?”, But after the question of changing the order of sending the payment, it supposedly switches to another consultant. That - in a stupor (they connected to another consultant, but leash after half an hour - "thanks for waiting"). Already seriously starting to think that the site was hacked.

    I open a chat on another computer, ask a question about the number, and they immediately reply that yes, our number, for security reasons, changed the way of confirmation of payment. However, there is no certainty that this is a consultant to the privabank. Okay, try to transfer a small amount of money - and hurray! everything went fine.

    The result is an hour of time spent, spoiled mood from "communication" with consultants. But it's so easy to send SMS from the usual number, although this, it turns out , does not guarantee anything. So it’s better just not to scare people, not to change the usual course of things, without an obvious need for it.

    UPD On Sunday morning, a PB employee called and asked for an approximate time of “communication”. So there is hope for a fix
