And again Arduino: a printer that monitors a user's Twitter feed

Based on Arduino, very interesting projects are created. Sometimes practical, sometimes just funny. Habré has already published news about such projects many times, so there are examples. This time I propose to evaluate another piece of work: a printer that prints messages from a twi-tape of an individual user on toilet paper. Probably, toilet paper was chosen so as not to waste high-quality writing paper on all sorts of nonsense.

In addition to the Arduino controller, parts of the disassembled CD drive are also used in the design. The whole system is connected to the author’s home network of the author of the development, and, as mentioned above, is engaged in a very important matter - it prints messages from the Twitter feed. In addition, the device also monitors the RSS, which is signed by Mario Lucas (this is the name of our hero).

By the way, information about this device diverges on the Web, along with the author’s Twitter address. Probably, he receives more and more messages, and perhaps soon the printer will cease to cope with his task. How all this works can be seen in the video below.
