St. Petersburg Internet Exchange will hold a seminar on June 2, 2011 SPB-IX IPv6 Day

    imageThe seminar “SPB-IX IPv6 Day”, dedicated to the International IPv6 Day, will be held in St. Petersburg on June 2, 2011. The event will be held in the PetroCongress Convention Center ( Lodeynopolskaya St., 5 , 3 minutes from metro Chkalovskaya). The organizer of the seminar is the St. Petersburg Internet Exchange (SPB-IX).

    The central topics of the seminar will be practical experience and features of implementing the IPv6 network protocol and other new technologies, as well as the prospects for the development of SPB-IX. The seminar will feature Russian and foreign representatives of Internet industry leaders: John D'Ambrosia (Chief Ethernet Evangelist Force10 Networks), Fedor Dikarev (Rambler Internet Holding LLC), Igor Storozhev (Rostelecom OJSC), Alexander Ilyin(MSK-IX), leading experts of the IX.RU project.

    The site http://ix.ru will be a live video broadcast of the event.
